Hidden Mickey: Where To Find Them in EPCOT
Hidden Mickeys actually started in EPCOT and we’ve been spotting them ever since. Check out the ones we’ve found so far and keep the kids entertained between rides, snacks, and “just one more country.”
Of all four parks, EPCOT is where the Hidden Mickey legacy actually began - not officially, of course, but quietly, behind the scenes.
Back when EPCOT was being designed, it was originally meant to be a more serious, adult-focused park, and Mickey Mouse wasn’t supposed to be part of the story at all.
Wild, right?
But Imagineers had other plans.
For a bit of fun, they started tucking little Mickey shapes into the architecture, artwork, and landscaping.
No announcements. No guides. Just… Mickey, hidden in plain sight.
It was meant to be an inside joke amongst the Imagineers, but cast members and park goers started to find them.
Decades later, it’s become a full-blown tradition.
And if you’re raising a small human who has energy to burn and zero patience for waiting in line for Frozen Ever After, this unofficial scavenger hunt is your new best friend.
Here are the Hidden Mickeys we’ve personally found in EPCOT.
001. Souvenirs de France
How To Find It:
Walking out of Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, you’ll turn left into this Souvenir shop. As you enter you’ll see these pots hanging up in the shape of a Mickey.
002. Frozen Ever After - Plates
How To Find It:
As you walk through the line of “Frozen Ever After” you‘ll look up and see these plates make a Hidden Mickey. This is shortly after you enter the building.
003. Frozen Ever After - Lock
How To Find It:
As you walk through the line of “Frozen Ever After” you‘ll look to your left and see this Hidden Mickey lock. This is shortly after you enter the building.
This one is very similar to the Hidden Mickey we found in Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT might be known for science, innovation, and drinking around the world, but it’s also full of tiny reminders that Disney never takes itself too seriously.
